Grocery Store Cubby House/
Hampton’s Style Retreat – SOLD
2000 x 2400 mm
This Cubby House was created with a Store Front theme as the main theme. The Grocery Store was the main theme with an option of converting the space into a Cafe, Restaurant or any shop front that the child was inspired to create. The space on the Bay Window as well as the sign could have art work stickers applied to display the shop name of choice for this child.
Another key element in the concept the Cubby House could be converted in a Studio Retreat as the child grew up. The door size and ceiling heights were designed to make sure that the space could be used as a Teenager Retreat or Art Studio as time passes.
This structure has been constructed very strong with a full floor and insulated walls and ceiling. The interior has been lined and is ready for wallpapering.
The front facade of the structure has many key design elements including the hand made custom designed bay window including specialized dormer with hand cut and laid shingles. The specialty sized wainscoting has been handmade so that the classic look of the bay window and door compliment each other. Another key feature of the front facade are the soffit brackets, these handmade brackets finish off the front of the facade and combining all these elements create a stunning and remarkable appearance for this new space and creates a feature aspect for this residence in Spring Hill.
